The beginning of a name
The story begins in Paris in 1812, when Raymond Sabe established the jewelry firm that would become known as Debacq & Cie. Gold jewelry was at the heart of its early work.

Jewelry as composition
By the late nineteenth century, Debacq & Cie was known for floral diamond-set jewels, including brooches and elaborate bodice ornaments. Some designs included fittings that allowed them to be worn in more than one way.
